Guided Tours -  Groups and Schools

In compliance with regulations issued by the Authorities concerning the current health emergency, guided group tours are possible up to 10 people (classes can participate at the same time to 2/3 different tours) Reservations are required:  tel. +39.011.8138564 /565  from Monday to Friday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. (for info: prenotazioni@museocinema.it). Call at least 10 days in advance (Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) to set a date and time, depending on availability. Reservation fee adult groups € 10. In order to cancel the visit, please fill in the form and send it to fax number +39 011.8390683 or by email to myvisit@museocinema.it. In the event of no cancellation or of a cancellation taking place the same day as the visit, a penalty fee of 50 euros will be incurred

Virtual Guided Tours

The Museum of Cinema open the doors to virtual tours, an opportunity to explore the many wonders directly from the school desks. The online activity can also be preparatory to a live visit to the Mole Antonelliana, workshops or film screening on streaming or at the Cinema Massimo

The Archaeology of Cinema itinerary tells us about the spectacular universe that entertained audiences of all ages and social classes before the birth of the cinema: so many different stories that gave rise to a colourful, surprising and eccentric world reproduced through Chinese shadows, optical boxes, magic lanterns and fascinating devices to animate images

Look Who's Talking! - IN ITALIAN ONLY

The dubbing of films and the adaptation of dialogues: experimenting in a fun and interactive way the techniques that  give different voices to famous movie characters. Durata: 2h

Magic on the screen: silent films’ special effects

The secrets of creating some early cinema special effects: appearances, disappearances, tricks of perspective and stop-motion animation.

Participants must bring their own USB Flash Drives to take footage home. The footage will  be given to groups with release forms  signed by their parents.
