In order to avoid queues, it is strongly advised to pre-purchase tickets online.

The Ticket office is open until one hour before closing time.
The last Lift ride from the Panoramic Terrace takes place 10 minutes before closing time.

The outside queue can be closed in advance and without previous warning in order to clear the building before the Museum's closing time.

The Cupola Ascent


Please note that during the summer months, the walking tour of the dome is suspended due to adverse weather conditions.

 

Guided Tour

Discover the architectural wonders and hidden corners of the Mole Antonelliana with an expert guide. During the ascent, the guide will share the history and secrets of the building, making the experience engaging and full of fascinating detail.

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: 10.20 am, 2.00 pm and 4.40 pm

 

Supervised Tour

Explore the interior of the Mole Antonelliana’s Dome independently, under the supervision of Museum staff.
Please note: During the ascent, staff will be present solely to ensure visitors’ safety and provide assistance.

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 2.00 pm

 

The route is entirely on foot. It starts on the ground floor and follows the stairways inside the dome’s cavity up to the Panoramic Terrace, 85 metres above the ground, offering spectacular views over the city.


The ascent of the Dome on foot is not recommended for visitors with mobility impairments, severe visual or hearing impairments, heart or respiratory conditions, claustrophobia, or conditions that may cause disorientation, such as labyrinthitis or vertigo. Children under the age of six are not permitted to take part.
