Italian preview of the prestigious international event “Une Saison de NOBEL” with READING & FILM as a tribute to the Canadian Nobel Prize Alice Munro.

The National Cinema Museum is pleased to host the Italian preview of the prestigious international event “Une Saison de NOBEL” which has been celebrating the Literature Nobel Prize authors for years, dedicated to the 2013 Literature Nobel Prize Alice Munro.

 

For the occasion, an evening will take place on 10 May 2014 at 8.00 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo, with READING & FILM entirely dedicated to the writer Alice Munro, the first Canadian to be awarded with the prestigious Literature Nobel Prize, and also the very first time the Swedish Academy has awarded an author who only writes short stories. Stefano Boni, head of programming at the National Cinema Museum, will introduce the film screening of Away from her by Sarah Polley, from The Bear Came over the Mountain by Alice Munro. The screening will be introduced by a reading held by the actress and co-curator of the event Anny Romand. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
