Cinema Massimo – Screen Three – 17 April 2013, 8.30 p.m.
For its customary rendez-vous with CORTI D’AUTORE (AUTEUR SHORTS), and in collaboration with the National Cinema Museum, the CNC - National Centre for Short Films is presenting an evening featuring a double bill on Wednesday 17 April 2013, from 8.30 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo.
The first part, Shorts by Lynch 1967-2007, will present ten short films, from Six Figures Getting Sick to Boat, covering forty years of Lynch’s career, the sign of his long association with short film.
The second part, titled History told by great directors, will instead feature World War II footage by George Stevens (1945, 56’). Stevens, then a colonel of the US Army, filmed the opening up of concentration camps. Admission: 3 euro.
