The National Cinema Museum presents the retrospective entitled Fino alla fine del mondo (Till the end of the world): The films of Béla Tarr in Cinema Massimo

The National Cinema Museum pays tribute to Béla Tarr – the Hungarian master considered to be one of the five best contemporary film directors in the world – with a retrospective entitled Fino alla fine del mondo (Till the end of the world): The films of Béla Tarr from Saturday 21st to Tuesday 31st January.

The retrospective is a National Cinema Museum project made possible thanks to support from Movies Inspired which acquired the Italian rights for the films chosen for the series.

The series will begin on Saturday, 21 January 2012 at 4 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, with a screening of Family Nest (Családi tuzfeszék) which follows the short film Hotel Magnezit (Hungary 1978, 10’, B/W). Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euros.
