To mark the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the National Cinema Museum presents ‘Fare gli italiani’ (Making Italians): The history of Italy in film. A series of events reconstructs the history of our country from the Risorgimento movement to the present day with 26 “classics” of Italian film.

To mark the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the National Cinema Museum presents ‘Fare gli italiani’ (Making Italians): The history of Italy in film. A series of fortnightly events reconstructs the history of our country from the Risorgimento movement to the present day with 26 “classics” of Italian film.

The series will open on Monday, 4 April 2011, at 8.30 p.m., with special guest Italo Moscati who will introduce two of his documentaries: Concerto Italiano: Storia e Storie dell’Unità d’Italia and Torino Gira – which cover the same historic period but using television footage. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros.
