A screening of Brendan Toller’s documentary I Need That Record! The Death (or Possible Survival) of the Independent Record Store, as part of the CROSSROADS series. The screening will be followed by a talk by Maurizio Blatto and Luca Castelli.

The National Cinema Museum devotes this month’s usual CROSSROADS evening to Brendan Toller’s documentary I Need That Record! The Death (or Possible Survival) of the Independent Record Store. The film will be shown in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three on Wednesday the 26th January 2011 at 8.45 p.m. The screening will be followed by a talk by Maurizio Blatto (music critic, record shop owner and author of the recently published L’ultimo disco dei Mohicani, published by Castelvecchi) and Luca Castelli (a journalist and scholar whose essay La musica liberata was published last year by Arcana). Admission: 4 euros.
