For AUTEUR SHORTS, double billing in June, with Shorts by Lynch 1970-2007 and Why We Fight: Let There Be Light by John Huston.

Cinema Massimo – 14 June 2013, 8.30 p.m.

For the usual rendez-vous with AUTEUR SHORTS, the CNC-National Centre for Short Films presents an evening – in collaboration with the National Cinema Museum – characterised by a double billing connected to the one in April, on Friday 14 June 2013 at 8.30 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. Admission: 3 euro.

The first part, The linguistic format of the subconscious. Shorts by Lynch 1970-2007, presents ten shorts spanning forty years in Lynch’s career, testifying to an unquenchable concern for experimenting and consorting with short films.

The second part, titled History recounted by great filmmakers, will instead offer Why We Fight: Let There Be Light by John Huston (1946, 56’).
