During the DIALOGHI IN CORSO presentation of new publications, a sensitive issue is tackled with “Abortion in Italy, between morality, rights and taboos”.

The National Museum of Cinema will hold a conference entitled ABORTION IN ITALY: MORALITY, RIGHTS AND TABOOS, which will present the publications Non sarò mai più la stessa. Storia di un aborto (I'll never be the same again: The story of an abortion) by Paola Strocchio (Cosmopolis, Turin, 2008) and Aborto e morale. Capire un nuovo diritto (Abortion and morality: Understanding a new right) by Maurizio Mori (Einaudi, Turin, 2008). There will be contributions from Maurizio Mori (Lecturer in Bioethics, University of Turin and President of the non-profit organisation Consulta di Bioetica bioethics coordinating committee), Silvio Viale (a doctor and director of the Luca Coscioni Association and board member of the Exit Italia Association) and Paola Strocchio (journalist and author). Moderator: Jessica Cusano (Consulta di Bioetica, Turin). Afterwards, there will be a screening of the film 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days by Cristian Mungiu.
