Saturday, 7 July, 11.00 am, Museo Civico Alpino “Arnaldo Tazzetti” di Usseglio, the exhibition entitled IN ALTO. Il mondo di Domenico Riccardo Peretti Griva. 1882-1962 will be inaugurated. Installed at the Museo Civico Alpino “Arnaldo Tazzetti” di Usseglio in collaboration with the National Museum of Cinema, Turin, the exhibition is the first local retrospective of works by pictorial photographer Domenico Riccardo Peretti Griva and will be open from 7 July through 14 October 2018.
The theme of the exhibition is the strong ties between the photographer/magistrate and the mountains of his birthplace and the art of pictorial photography, of which he was a major exponent in Italy.
For the occasion, the Cit Brass Quintet – students of the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi di Torino – will play arrangements of pieces by Bach, Haendel, Mozart, Monteverdi, Puccini, and modern composers.
