New rendez-vous for PLANET AFRICA, on the occasion of World Africa Day (25 May), Friday 23 May 2014, from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo, with the film screening of Tey – Aujourd’hui (Senegal/France 2012, 86’) by Senegalese Alain Gomis. To follow, round table on the role of African cinema in local development and in building collective imagery. Admission free.

 

The ultimate aim of PLANET AFRICA, also thanks to the significant support of COP - Consorzio ONG Piemontesi and the health and social associations and migrant ones involved, is to place the African continent, with its strong issues but also the great positive and suggestive trends that are taking shape, at the CORE of careful reflection involving various subjects and to create a place TOGETHER where meetings between the two cultures may be made easier, protecting their mutual identities.
