For MAGNIFICENT VISIONS: The Permanent Festival of Restored Film, the National Cinema Museum presents the film La decima vittima by Elio Petri, Monday 1 July 2013 at 4.30 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. Repeat screening Friday 5 July at 6.15 p.m. and Sunday 7 July at 9.15 p.m. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
The digital restoration of La decima vittima was carried out by the Turin National Cinema Museum and by the Bologna Film Archive Foundation starting from the original negative made available by Surf Film. The negative was digitised in a 2k resolution and digitally restored. The restoration took place at L’Immagine Ritrovata laboratory in Bologna in 2012.
