The National Cinema Museum with the National Centre for Short Films and Asifa Italia, presents Fatta in Italia: l’animazione di Igor Imhoff

Cinema Massimo – 22 March 2013, 8.30 p.m., Screen Three

For CORTI D’AUTORE (AUTEUR SHORTS), the National Cinema Museum, in collaboration with the National Centre for Short Films and Asifa Italia, presents an evening dedicated to contemporary animated art, on Friday 22 March 2013 at 8.30 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. Independent animation in our country constitutes a highly vibrant underground reality. A substantially low-budget production, where handcrafting is the byword, which has found a valuable channel of diffusion in Andrea Martignoni’s divulgative work. In addition to this critic from Bologna, the evening will also feature the attendance of Igor Imhoff, the designer and animator who applies highly sophisticated technique to his work in a happy fusion of painting practice and digital animation, and who has already won over the programmers at Venezia Circuito Off and Clermont Ferrand. Admission: 3 euro.
