A screening of Mario Bonnard’s film La città dolente for CINEMA DEGLI ALTRI, part of the events organised for Holocaust Memorial Day. Afterwards there will be a roundtable discussing the issue of refugees.

In commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day, the National Cinema Museum presents a screening of Mario Bonnard film La città dolente, on Wednesday, 8 February 2012 at 8.30 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, the only Italian film to deal with the tragedy of refugees of Istria.

Afterwards there will be a roundtable with contributions from Fulvio Aquilante (Associazione Nazionale Venezia Giulia e Dalmazia), Marcella Filippa (Fondazione Vera Nocentini), Enrico Miletto (Fondazione Vera Nocentini/Istoreto) and Sergio Toffetti (Archivio Nazionale Cinema d’Impresa). Admission free.
