The next event in the SCHERMI AMERICANI (AMERICAN SCREENS) festival features a screening of James Gray’s film We Own the Night and Michael Mann’s Heat. Between one screening and the other, a talk by Attilio Palmieri.

“We Own the City” is a new event focusing on the noir-detective story genre in the popular series SCHERMI AMERICANI (AMERICAN SCREENS), which will present James Gray’s film We Own the Night on Monday, 18 April 2011, in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, at 6.30 p.m. after which there will be a talk by Attilio Palmieri. Then at 8.30 p.m. there will be a screening of Michael Mann’s Heat. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros.

Events in the Schermi americani festival continue, organised by “Gli Ultracorpi”, the university group from Turin’s DAMS college for the performing arts in partnership with the History of North American cinema faculty.
