A press conference to present Luca Novelli’s book I fratelli Lumière (The Lumière Brothers)

On Tuesday, 18 January 2011 at 11.30 a.m., the book I fratelli Lumière (The Lumière Brothers) by Luca Novelli, published in October 2010 by Editoriale Scienza, will be presented to the press in the National Cinema Museum’s conference room.

The discuss the book, the author will be joined by the president of the National Cinema Museum, Alessandro Casazza, and the curator and producer of the RAI television series “Lampi di genio in TV”, Renzo Salvi. Free admission.

Enclosed with the book is a DVD featuring the episode from the Rai Educational Lampi di genio in Tv series for children taken from Novelli’s book, which focuses on the Lumière brothers, with excerpts from the first films and what came before film: magic lanterns, praxinoscopes, zoopraxiscopes…
