The national premier of Xavier Beauvois’s film Of Gods and Men and the book Più forti dell’odio (Stronger than hate), presented by Fr. Enzo Bianchi

The National Cinema Museum and Lucky Red present the national premiere of Xavier Beauvois’s film Of Gods and Men, which was awarded the jury’s Grand Prix at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival and was France’s submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, at 8.30 p.m. at Cinema Massimo’s Screen One.

Following the screening, Alberto Barbera (director of the National Cinema Museum) and Fr. Enzo Bianchi (Prior of the Bose monastery) present Christian De Chergé’s book Più forti dell’odio (Stronger than hate) which the film is based on, in a new, recently published edition edited by Fr. Enzo Bianchi himself for Edizioni Qiqajon. The book will be on sale in Cinema Massimo’s foyer. Admission: 7.00/5.00/3.50 euros.
