A screening of Sam Erickson’s documentary The Road to Big Whiskey on the Dave Matthews Band as part of CROSSROADS.

The National Museum of Cinema, in partnership with Con-Fusion, the Italian Dave Matthews Band association, presents the Turin premiere of Sam Erickson’s documentary The Road to Big Whiskey. The documentary – which Erickson completed thanks to his extensive and long-standing familiarity with the band, which he photographed and filmed in all their studio recording sessions – starts in the present-day and then goes back over the entire history of this band from Charlottesville, using a great deal of unpublished material from the director’s own private collection. A short video interview with Sam Erickson by Elena Pizzetti will be shown before the film. Admission: 3 euros.
