For IL CINEMA DEGLI ALTRI live accompaniment of some recently restored films by the duo Federico Missio Movie Kit

Cinema Massimo - 31 May 2010, from 9.00 p.m.

The National Cinema Museum and Strade del Cinema di Aosta have been working together for years proposing new sound experiences to accompany silent movies.

For the occasion, on Monday 31 May 2010 at 9.00 p.m., on Screen Three of the Cinema Massimo some recent film restorations curated by the Museum will be screened and accompanied live by the duo Federico Missio Movie Kit – composed by the musicians Federico Missio (sax soprano) and Juri Dal Dan (piano) – winner of the Contest “Young European Musicians 2009”.

The evening’s programme envisages the screening of the film Robinet innamorato di una chanteuse (Società Anonima Ambrosio, 1911, 8’), followed by Polidor vuol suicidarsi (Pasquali & C, 1912, 9’) and La paura degli aereomobili nemici by André Deed (Italia Film, 1915, 16’), ending with the film The Rink by Charles Spencer Chaplin (USA, 1916, 27’). Admission to this event is free.
