The National Museum of Cinema and the 25th Torino GLBT Film Festival pay tribute to James Ivory

Cinema Massimo – 23 April 2010, at 8.30 p.m.

The National Museum of Cinema, in partnership with the 25th Torino GLBT Film Festival “From Sodom to Hollywood”, pays tribute to the film director James Ivory, with a retrospective festival completely dedicated to his Indian films, entitled India Songs.

The festival will open on Friday, the 23rd of April 2010 in Cinema Massimo’s Screen 3 at 8.30 p.m. with a screening of the film The Householder. This retrospective festival will continue until Sunday, the 25th of April. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros. Tickets for the opening night only will cost 4.00 euros.

The National Museum of Cinema has organised this tribute to James Ivory in partnership with the 25th Torino GLBT Film Festival “From Sodom to Hollywood”, which will premiere the new film in Ivory’s presence. The event has been timed to coincide with the 2010 International Book Fair (Turin Lingotto exhibition centre, 13-17 May) where India is this year’s guest country.
