The National Museum of Cinema pays tribute to the films of Mario Martone

The National Museum of Cinema presents The voyage of a vision: A tribute to Mario Martone at Cinema Massimo, from the 2nd to the 11th of April 2010. This retrospective festival will focus on Mario Martone, a famous theatre director, film director and screenwriter – who has been director of the Teatro Stabile di Torino since 2007 – and will include a vast selection of films directed and written by him. The festival will open on Friday, the 2nd of April 2010 at 4 p.m. with a screening of the film Teatro di guerra (Rehearsals for War). Admission: 4 euros.

The voyage of a vision: A tribute to Mario Martone has been organised by the National Museum of Cinema in partnership with Pav, the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Experimental Cinematography Centre) – the Cineteca Nazionale (National Film Archive), Centro Studi - Archivio Pier Paolo Pasolini, Teatri Uniti and Angelo Curti. Special thanks go to Mario Martone himself and Sacher Film (Nanni Moretti and Annamaria Cocchioni) for having made L’unico paese al mondo available to the festival.
