For the exhibition entitled L’ULTIMO SPETTACOLO / SCHERMI AMERICANI a screening of the film Taxi Driver by Martin Scorsese.

The National Cinema Museum and the Dams – Turin University present the film Taxi Driver by Martin Scorsese. The film, winner of the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1976, will be introduced and presented to the audience by Alberto Pezzotta and Gianni Rondolino. Admission: 4 euros, University students: 3 euros.

The exhibition entitled L’ULTIMO SPETTACOLO / SCHERMI AMERICANI. US cinema of the past 40 years is organised by the National Cinema Museum, Dams - Turin University and by the university group Gli Ultracorpi in conjunction with the History of North American Cinema Course and the “G. Quazza” Multimedia Laboratory. The project will be divided into a series of initiatives, meetings and screenings which intend to reflect on cinema, but also on American history, culture and society, through a selection of key films of the last forty years.
