Cinema Massimo – 29 March 2010, 6.30 p.m.

The third Biennial Exhibition of Lay Film continues with the screening of the film La perfezionista presented by author Cesare Lanza organised by the Consulta Torinese per la Laicità delle Istituzioni in conjunction with the National Cinema Museum, and curated by the film critic Gabriele Barrera.

The film will be presented by the director together with the curator of the exhibition Gabriele Barrera and Tullio Monti, coordinator of Consulta Torinese per la Laicità delle Istituzioni.

The aim of the exhibition is to offer the Turin audience an opportunity to reflect on the approach taken by the lay method and ethic to the questions and individual and collective challenges posed by the contemporary world – via the aesthetic language and cultural stimuli of cinematographic art. Ten films are scheduled for screening between March and May, and they will tackle certain significant aspects of today’s increasingly multicultural, multiethnic and multireligious society. Admission: 3.00 euros.
