A screening of Philippe Garrel’s La Cicatrice intérieure (The Inner Scar) and J’entends plus la guitare (I Can No Longer Hear the Guitar) for CROSSROADS

For February’s CROSSROADS evening, the National Cinema Museum pays tribute to the German singer Nico, screening two films by Philippe Garrel, with whom she had an intense professional relationship and love affair in the 1970s.

The event starts on Friday, 3 February 2012 at 8.30 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, with the film La Cicatrice intérieure (The Inner Scar), screenplay by Garrel-Nico. Afterwards, at 9.45 p.m., the heartrending J’entends plus la guitare (I Can No Longer Hear the Guitar) will be screened, a film the director dedicated to her the day after her death. Both films will be repeated on Saturday, 4 February 2012 at 3.45 p.m. and 5 p.m. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euros.
