The Millenovecento63: Italian films in 1963 festival, organised by the National Cinema Archive of the Resistance at Cinema Massimo
Our usual date with the festival organised by the National Cinema Archive of the Resistance – devoted to Italian films made in one particular year – now in its 23rd edition and entitled Millenovecento63: Italian films in 1963, is once more being held at Cinema Massimo.
The festival, organised by Corrado Borsa, Fabio Cancelliere, Paola Olivetti, Marta Teodoro, Andrea Spinelli and Baldo Vallero, has been made possible thanks to funding from the General Film Department – Ministry of Culture and Heritage and Regione Piemonte – Culture Department, in partnership with the Fondazione Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia/SNC (The Experimental Cinematography Centre) National Film Archive, the National Cinema Museum and the National Cinema Museum Association.
The festival will open on Monday the 6th of December 2010 at Cinema Massimo’s Screen 3 at 8.30 p.m. with a screening of Dino Risi’s film I mostri (Opiate ’67) showing the copy restored by the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (The Experimental Cinematography Centre) – National Film Archive. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros.
