As part of the tribute to Silvana Mangano, Fulvio Paganin and Franco Prono present Giuseppe De Santis’s Riso Amaro (Bitter Rice).

As part of the tribute to Silvana Mangano – which is taking place at Cinema Massimo from the 25th to the 30th of June 2010 – Fulvio Paganin and Franco Prono will present Giuseppe De Santis’s film Riso Amaro on Friday the 25th of June 2010 at 8.30 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three. After the film, there will be a screening of Claudio Barbati’s documentary Silvana Mangano, beauty and mystery (Italy 1998, 40’). Admission: 4 euros.

Silvana Mangano: a bitter beauty has been organised by the National Museum of Cinema and Distretto Cinema, in partnership with the Experimental Cinematography Centre – National Film Archive and Rai International.
