On Tuesday 15 June 2010 at 8.30 p.m. on screen 3 of the Cinema Massimo, the National Cinema Museum presents the restored version of the film Come Back, Africa by Lionel Rogosin and Touki Bouki – The Hyena’s Journey by Djibril Diop Mambéty, the tenth appointment with MAGNIFICENT VISIONS. Permanent Festival of Restored Films. The film by the American Rogosin – chronicles of South Africa in the Fifties – will be shown in a copy restored by Cineteca del Comune di Bologna, while Touki Bouki of Mambéty is presented in the copy restored by World Cinema Foundation and Cineteca del Comune di Bologna.
