April’s CULT! evening features Gianni Canova’s novel Palpebre

The National Museum of Cinema dedicates its usual monthly CULT! evening to the launch of Gianni Canova’s first novel Palpebre. Canova is the director of the monthly magazine Duellanti, he teaches film studies and is the dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the IULM University of Languages and Communication, Milan.
The museum has specially organised a conference with the author, who will discuss his book with Francesco Casetti on Monday, the 26th of April 2010, at 8.30 p.m. During the evening, the actress Erika Renai will read excerpts from the novel. Afterwards there will a screening of Johnny Depp’s film The Brave (Usa 1997, 118’). Admission: 4.00 euros.
