The National Cinema Museum and the Dams (Art, Music and Entertainment Disciplines) – University of Turin present the film La conversazione/The conversation by Francis Ford Coppola introduced and presented to the public by Andrea Mattaccheo (Gli Ultracorpi/The Body Snatchers – University of Turin) and Andrea Valle (Turin University Professor and author of Sound Trap. On the audible in “The Conversation” by Francis Ford Coppola). Entrance 4 euro, university students 3 Euro.
The film exhibit L’ULTIMO SPETTACOLO / SCHERMI AMERICANI (THE LAST SHOW / AMERICAN SCREENS). Over the last 40 years U.S. cinema has been organized by the National Cinema Museum and the Dams (Art, Music and Entertainment Disciplines) – University of Turin and the university collective Gli Ultracorpi/The Body Snatchers in conjunction with the Course on History of North American Cinema and the “G. Quazza” Multimedial Laboratory. The project will consist in a series of initiatives, meetings and screenings the scope of which is to reflect on the cinema, but also on American history, culture and society, through a selection of key films from the past forty years.
