The purchase of photographic copies of original material is charged at different rates according to its eventual use. For further information please see the prices section.
If any original material has not already been reproduced, the cost of any necessary restoration and the cost of photographic reproduction will be added to the original price.
It should be noted that in certain cases the National Cinema Museum of Torino may be the owner of an original material but not of the rights to its use. In these cases, whoever wishes to reproduce or use these materials in any way must obtain the right to their use from the relative individual or organization and, when necessary, pay the relative fee. In doing so, the Museum is absolved of all responsibility toward the holders of such rights. The applicant must complete and sign one of the following forms, depending on the purpose of the request:
Reproduction for movies of study or research
Authorization to publish
If the museum knows the identity of the copyright holder, it is committed to bringing such information to the attention of the applicant.
