The National Cinema Museum and the Goethe-Institut present the retrospective Reciproche visioni (Reciprocal views: Italy-Germany in film) at Cinema Massimo, Screen Three, from 9 to 16 May 2011. The festival will present a carefully chosen selection of Italian and German films and aims to study how the relationship between the two countries has evolved. It will also analyse each one’s perception of the other using the unusual but fascinating tool of film. Reciprocal views: Italy-Germany in film has been organised by the Goethe-Institut and the National Cinema Museum in partnership with the University of Turin and Hamburg’s Cinegraph-CineFest. The retrospective will open on Monday, 9 May 2011 at 8.30 p.m. in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, with a screening of the film The Night Porter directed by Liliana Cavani. Admission: 5.50/4.00/3.00 euros.
