As part of our tribute to Tullio Pinelli, Franco Giraldi presents Federico Fellini’s Il bidone (The Swindle) at Cinema Massimo

On Tuesday the 20th of April at 8.30 p.m., as part of our tribute to Tullio Pinelli, there will be a meeting with Franco Giraldi, chaired by Alberto Barbera, followed by a screening of Federico Fellini’s film Il bidone (The Swindle) (Italy, 1955, 104’). The copy of the film shown was restored in 2002 by Bologna council’s film archive. Admission: 4 euros.

The Tribute to Tullio Pinelli has been organised by the University of Turin’s Dams college for the performing arts, the National Museum of Cinema and the Teatro Stabile a year after the death of the great Turin-based screenwriter, who worked with many great Italian film directors, including Federico Fellini, Pietro Germi, Alberto Lattuada and Mario Monicelli.
