Torino Film Festival

One of the most important film festivals in Italy and internationally, the Torino Film Festival showcases emerging cinema, with a strong focus on innovation in cinematic language, new filmmakers and contemporary trends.
Founded in 1982 as the Festival Internazionale Cinema Giovani, based on an idea by Gianni Rondolino, it has established itself as a metropolitan festival combining experimentation in cinematic language, critical reflection and independent creativity.
Highly regarded by both industry professionals and film enthusiasts, its programme brings together arthouse cinema, tributes, retrospectives, rediscovered classics and debut films by directors who have since achieved international recognition.
Directed by Giulio Base and taking place from 24 November to 2 December 2026, the 44th Torino Film Festival continues this tradition with international competitions dedicated to feature films, documentaries and short films, alongside non-competitive sections such as Fuori Concorso, Zibaldone and the Retrospective.
