Bong Joon Ho's Masterclass

The Academy Award-winning director of Parasite will receive the Stella della Mole Award during a Masterclass devoted to his extraordinary cinematic vision, a filmography capable of transcending genre boundaries, and the incisive social commentary that has established him as one of the most influential voices in contemporary international cinema.

Bong Joon Ho will receive the Stella della Mole Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to contemporary cinema, before a Masterclass hosted by Museo Nazionale del Cinema Director Carlo Chatrian on 23 September 2026 at 6.00 pm.

At 8.00 pm, he will also introduce a special screening of Parasite (2019), the dazzling satire on social inequality that, after winning the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, became a global cultural phenomenon. The event will also launch a complete retrospective of his feature films, offering audiences the opportunity to retrace the full arc of his artistic career.
