The second event in the CRIMINALI DA STRAPAZZO (THIRD-RATE CRIMINALS) festival features a screening of Preston Sturges’s The Lady Eve, introduced by Attilio Palmieri.
The inauguration of the festival entitled CRIMINALI DA STRAPAZZO (THIRD-RATE CRIMINALS: Thieves, cheats and gangsters in American comedy) opens with a screening of Frank Capra’s film Arsenic and Old Lace, introduced by Riccardo Fassone.
The National Cinema Museum’s restoration projects are featured as part of a tribute to Segundo de Chomón in the festival entitled RE | VISIONI (RE / VIEWS: Restored films), organised by the Académie de France in Rome.
The National Cinema Museum has acquired the archive of the journal Filmcritica. To mark the occasion, its director, Edoardo Bruno, presents the book Senso come rischio: 60 anni di Filmcritica (The risk of sense: 60 years of Filmcritica)
