Through the staging of short stories, we'll experiment with different representation techniques that have characterized the evolution of shadow theatre: the art of hand shadow play, silhouettes, articulated shadows, backdrops and props.

Move, shoot, animate!

The secret and magic of cartoons revealed by experimenting with different techniques from pre-cinema and animation, in order to create moving images based on fictitious subjects.

EXHIBITION - Bestiale! Animal Film Stars

The exhibition is about the multifaceted universe of animals in cinema.  Animals that have turned into actual international stars, that act – often talk – like their human colleagues and have been able to conquer audiences all over the world. The guided tour talks the public through photographs, posters, memorabilia, animatronics and several movie sequences which have man’s best friend as the main character.

Starting from the animals that are the exhibition’s main characters, dubbing and adding soundtrack techniques can be experimented with to discover the magic formula that gives a voice to animals turning them into actual thinking and speaking characters.

Disegna il tuo animal Star!

Dal 1 ottobre al 20 dicembre, gli studenti in visita al Museo possono partecipare al Concorso Bestiale! e personalizzare la locandina della mostra disegnando il loro animale star preferito.  La locandina può  essere scaricata a questo LINK e inviata a didattica@museocinema.it entro il 20 dicembre 2017.  In palio per il miglior disegno (uno per la scuola primaria, uno per la secondaria di I grado) una visita guidata o un laboratorio omaggio alla prossima mostra dedicata al Cinema e alla Musica (da febbraio 2018). 

Cinema&Musica

Da febbraio 2018 

La mostra presenterà un allestimento multimediale, scenografico e interattivo per raccontare l’articolato rapporto tra musica e immagini , restituendo questo binomio nel modo più ampio possibile, attraverso montaggi di sequenze tratte dai film, documentari, making of, interviste a studiosi, musicisti, registi e compositori; un approccio non cronologico ma fondato su aree tematiche: la musica nel cinema muto, il musical, il videoclip, i rock movies.  

Cinema&Musica - Percorso guidato

Musica, suoni e rumori: dal cinema delle origini fino ai giorni nostri. Dalle sequenze in mostra emergono le tematiche e i passaggi fondamentali dell’inscindibile rapporto tra la colonna sonora e l’immagine cinematografica.

Viaggio nell'universo dei suoni - Laboratorio

Il rapporto tra immagine e colonna sonora al cinema è ripercorso attraverso la  sequenze in mostra. In aula didattica, con alcuni semplici esercizi di ascolto, i bambini comprendono il ruolo dei suoni nel cinema e l’evoluzione del passaggio dal muto al sonoro.
