For the occasion of the great SoundFrames. Cinema and music on show exhibition – which may be visited throughout 2018 at the Mole Antonelliana – families and the public will be able to delve into the theme of this exhibition on Saturday 24 February, by means of a guided tour and the Journey into the universe of sounds laboratory for families and children.
In detail, at 5.00 p.m. it will be possible to take part in the Journey into the universe of sounds laboratory for families and children (lasting 1 hour and 30’) in which to experience the evolution of music in cinema and the transition from silent to sound movies. The guided tour for the SoundFrames exhibition will take place instead at 6.20 p.m. (lasting 1 hour), revealing and describing the structured coupling between cinema and music through a scenographic and interactive layout: silent cinema, musicals, videoclips, rock movies. A trip for discovering the role of music within the history of cinema and of its greatest protagonists and stars. The exhibition circuit features continuous screenings along the entire ramp. Each screening has specific audio, which may be listened to only by using headphones.
