Cinema Massimo – 17 December 2017, 10.30 a.m. – Screen One

Cinema with your baby, the initiative by the National Cinema Museum and the Giovani Genitori monthly magazine featuring a matinee screening a month, dedicated to families with babies and tiny tots is continuing at the Cinema Massimo.

The December film is The Gruffalo - The Gruffalo's Child (Usa 2009-11, 54’, DCP, col.) by Max Lang/Jacob Shuh. The Gruffalo (from English grizzly plus buffalo) a half bear and half buffalo hybrid creature, is the hero of Julia Donaldson’s eponymous novel for children illustrated by Axel Scheffler, now a classic in children's literature. The encounter between a cunning little mouse, forest animals and a horrible monster with fangs and quills shows how misleading exterior appearances may be.

Before the beginning of the film, there will be a premiere of two short episodes of the new series of Topo Tip (Tip the Mouse) in collaboration with Studio Bozzetto.

The screening will take place with reduced volume levels and muted lighting. Booster seats, changing mats, bottle-warmers, nappies and pram-parking will be available together with the customary snacks offered by our sponsors. Accessible on wheels. The ticket allows a reduction for entry to the Cinema Museum.

Admission 4.50 euro (free for 0-3 year-old children).

Cinema with your baby is organised in collaboration with Equilibra, NovaCoop, Centrale del Latte di Torino and Famideal.
