Conference titled "The women in the picture: star models and female identity" and screening dedicated to Tina Modotti, with the film The Tiger's Coat by Roy Clements.

For the occasion of the BEST ACTRESS. Oscar® Divas exhibition organised by the National Cinema Museum in Turin and of the Tina Modotti. Retrospective exhibition organised at Palazzo Madama in Turin in collaboration with Silvana Editoriale, the University of Turin is proposing the “The women in the picture: star models and female identity" conference, on 9 June 2014 from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. at the Cinema Massimo: a studies day dedicated to some of the actresses awarded with the Oscar in particularly significant moments within the history of cinema. Admission free.

The day will end at 8.30 p.m. on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo with the screening of Tiger’s Coat by Roy Clements, the only surviving film featuring Tina Modotti. Admission 3 euro.
