The monthly rendez-vous with evenings organised by SeeYouSound – International Music Film Festival in collaboration with the National Cinema Museum, is back again in June. After 40 years from its debut in cinemas, one of the great classics of music-themed cinema, Saturday Night Fever by John Badham is back on the big screen: only the first music-themed film festival in Italy could have brought it back to the cinema in Turin, as it pursues its mission in town month by month. Admission 5.00 euro.

For the occasion of its 25 years of activity, Zenit Arti Audiovisive is offering the public in Turin a showcase featuring a selection of its most significant films.
Cinema Massimo – From 26 to 28 June 2017 – Screen Three

Founded in Turin in 1992, Zenit Arti Audiovisive has established itself as one of the most interesting Italian realities in the field of the independent production of auteur documentaries. A rare example of a long-lasting collective, born within the university halls of Palazzo Nuovo, this creative group has experienced all the seasons of production in Turin.

 

The showcase will be inaugurated on Monday 26 June at 8.30 p.m. by L’enigma del sonno (The enigma of sleep) by Enrico Cerasuolo and Sergio Fergnachino. Introduced by its authors, in conversation with Ambrogio Artoni, Paolo Manera and Alessandro Signetto. Admission free.

Displacements/Dépaysements showcase. Meetings featuring reality cinema on borders.
Cinema Massimo – From 29 June to 2 July 2017 – Screen Three

The second edition of Displacements /Dépaysements is offering the wider public a selection of ten auteur documentaries with an Italian and French production or co-production, urging a reflection on the various frontiers that are present in the contemporary world. This showcase is associated with the final stage of Borderscapes, a trans-frontier cooperation project within which a corpus of original works regarding the Italo-French border has been produced and created, with the aim of enhancing its identity.

Admission 3 euro (afternoon shows) and 4 euro (evening shows).
