Cinema and psychoanalysis presents "Another Woman" by Woody Allen.

Cinema Massimo – 24 January 2018, 9.00 p.m. – Screen Three

Continuing its collaboration with the National Cinema Museum, in its commitment to research significant meanings for the social dimension of existence, the Turin Psychoanalysis Centre is proposing the commented viewing of Woody Allen’s film Another Woman as a moment for reflection.

The showcase deals with exploring the world of human affections, which is simple, just as the way of feeling them and expressing them is not. Events in life generate emotional turmoil that can be resolved in evolution crises or shutdowns. Cinema offers us the opportunity of involving ourselves in many human stories. The film will be introduced and commented by Giuseppe D'Agostino. Admission 6.00/4.00 euro.

Another Woman

(Usa 1988, 81’, Hd, col., o.v. it. s/t)

Marion Post (Gena Rowlands), a middle-aged writer, looks for a rented apartment to retire to and write without being disturbed. However, she unwantingly finds herself listening to the conversations of clients in the adjoining psychotherapy studio through the wall. These events lead Marion to a general rethinking of her life.
