Lars and the real girl by Craig Gillespie, for the new cycle of CINEMA AND PSYCHOANALYSIS dedicated to the unexpected.

Cinema Massimo – 17 February 2016, 9.00 p.m. – Screen Three

New rendez-vous for the second cycle of screenings organised by the National Cinema Museum with the Turin Psychoanalisis Centre, titled Cinema and Psychoanalysis. The unexpected.

The showcase demonstrates how cinema is able to convey the psyche’s reaction to the immediate and unconscious impact of apparently casual, and anyhow unexpected events and meetings, with compelling intensity. Psychoanalysis dedicates particular attention to such experiences, considering them valuable moments, in view of possible new morphing experiences. This week, it features the film Lars and the real girl by Craig Gillespie. To follow, meeting with Massimo Vigna Taglianti.

Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
