The circuit approaching the SeeYouSound Festival is continuing with Undertheinfluence. The musical scene of New York, and the British and German ones.

Cinema Massimo – 2 December 2015, 9.00 p.m. – Screen Two

SeeYouSound is continuing its run-up circuit towards the Festival and does it this time thanks to the valuable collaboration of Noisey, the music section of the VICE magazine, which has made these special contents available to the Festival.

The Noisey project (music by Vice) is exploring one of the most significant music scenes of our age through three documentaries (total duration 90’), showing its people, the bands and the styles which have changed the course of music forever. Narrated by a modern punk legend like Tim Armstrong (Rancid, Operation Ivy, Transplants).

The story delves into the hardcore world of New York, into British Ska 2Tone and into German Krautrock, to discover how these important music scenes were born and how they are continuing to influence art, music and culture nowadays. A tour around the globe, where you will go from the Specials to The Geeks, to the Neu!, in order to witness life “Under the Influence”.

The evening will be opened and closed at the Amantes, where it will be possible to admire a selection of themed vinyl records, to listen to the legendary Krautrock and to toast a new partnership with the VARVARA FESTIVAL, which will feature its top display during SeeYouSound in February. Admission: 5 euro
