Thanksgiving Day is the most well-known festivity in America. It goes back to 1621, when it was celebrated for the first time between the American Indians and the Pilgrims. Even nowadays, Thanksgiving Day is celebrated within all American families, as a lay non-religious feast, by spending time together and reciting a “thanksgiving” prayer before lunching.
