For PLANET AFRICA, a meeting titled AFRICA AND DESIGN – Experiences and projects from a morphing continent.

PLANET AFRICA is hosting an event on Africa and Design at the “Mario Gromo” Library/Mediatheque Events Room, during which the Africoeur – Design project will be introduced.

This event is taking place within the broader Africoeur project, a collaboration among the Piedmontese Centre for African Studies, the National Cinema Museum, Musica 90 and the Più con zero association, focusing its interest and promotion on the different artistic formats of the African continent: music, cinema, art and design. Milan designer Francesco Faccin and Senegalese craftsman Malick Niang wil be attending. Meeting moderator Andrea Terranova, head of the Design section for the Africoeur project.
