Inauguration for WELLESIAN MAY, with a meeting and a screening of Filming Othello by Orson Welles.

For the occasion of Orson Welles’ birth centenary (6 May  1915 - 15 October 1985), the National Cinema Museum and Turin University are organising WELLESIAN MAY, a cycle of meetings dedicated to this great artist, who was active in the theatre, cinema, radio, television, etc. in ways and formats which have marked Twentieth century culture and the whole Media system profoundly. The cycle will be inaugurated by the screening of the documentary Filming Othello by Orson Welles.

 

The screening will be presented to the public by Peppino Ortoleva (Turin University), and introduced by Silvio Alovisio (Turin University).
