Van Gogh by Maurice Pialat will be screened for MAGNIFICENT VISIONS.

Following the summer interval, MAGNIFICENT VISIONS. The Permanent Festival of Restored Film will resume with the screening of the restored Van Gogh by Maurice Pialat, which will be offered on Tuesday 2 September at 8.30p.m., with a repeat screening on Wednesday 3 September at 3.30 p.m. Admission 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
A 1991 work, Van Gogh was selected in the competition for the best film at the Cannes Festival as soon as it was released, and is known as a non-melodramatic tale of the painter’s life, offering a picture of the19th century life which the artist was moving in.
