For MAGNIFICENT VISIONS: The Permanent Festival of Restored Film, the National Cinema Museum presents the film Cul-de-sac by Roman Polanski, in the digital restoration carried out by Film Polski, Tuesday 30 April 2013, at 8.30 and 10.30 p.m. on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo. Repeat screening Wednesday 1 May at 4 p.m. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.

 

The film is part of the rendez-vous for the new and eventful season of MAGNIFICENT VISIONS: The Permanent Festival of Restored Film which, following its great success with the public and critics during its past editions, will be offering four dates a month once more this year, with cinema masterpieces from the golden age of classic cinema, ranging from silent movies to the nouvelles vagues of the 1960s and beyond, in restored prints from the most important worldwide film-archives. The films will be presented in original version with subtitles in Italian and introduced – when the occasion arises – by filmmakers, critics or personalities from the world of culture and cinema.
