The Urban Center Metropolitano presents in conjunction with the National Museum of Cinema the film series “Urban Screenings: seven open air showings of films set in seven European cities.

Turin – 4 through 18 July 2018, 9.30 pm – Different venues

The Urban Center Metropolitano, jointly with the National Museum of Cinema, will present seven open air showings of films set in seven European cities.

The initiative is part of I-Media Cities, a European project that will create a digital platform for sharing and presenting audiovisual material from European film libraries. The overarching theme is the history of major European cities and their representation in film and photography.

From 4 through 18 July viewers will gain a peek into the enormous audiovisual material that will be accessible on the I-Media Cities platform starting in spring 2019: a selected short film from a film library partner will tell the modern history of the city as an introduction to a feature film characterizing the city between the 20th and the 21st century.

Free admission on a first come first seated basis. Headsets provided. Rental fee €3.
