Meeting on the fabulous world of Amélie and its music by Yann Tiersen, at the Piano Lessons showcase at the OGR in Turin for the occasion of SoundFrames.

OGR – Officine Grandi Riparazioni – 8 March 2018, 6.00 p.m. –Duomo Hall

Amélie would not be the same if there were not for complicit and irreverent music, like the one composed for the film by Yann Tiersen, the Piano Lessons concert guest at OGR on 9 March.

This occasion offers us the possibility of creating a meeting – led by Grazia Paganelli and Stefano Boni – for showcasing the most significant scenes of this film by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, in order to show the close link between the music score and the turmoil in Amélie’s feelings.

The meeting is organised in collaboration with the National Cinema Museum in Turin, for the occasion of the SoundFrames. Cinema and music on show exhibition – now on at the Mole Antonelliana throughout 2018 – and is part of the Piano Lessons showcase at the OGR in Turin.

All the events in the Piano Lessons showcase at the OGR in Turin are free, with booking required, and fully accessible by using adequate instruments.
